Summary of Church Services at Stonebroom Methodist Church
Sunday School – 9.30 am
The day begins with Sunday School (Kids for Jesus), at 9.30 am. Occasionally the children start with a breakfast. See the webpage devoted to Sunday School on this website for more details of the activities and learning that takes place.
All Age Worship – 10.30 am
After the Sunday School (Kids for Jesus), we hold the morning service at 10.30 am. This is an All Age Service of Worship. Children who have attended the Sunday School (Kids for Jesus), session may stay for this service. The one taking the service will endeavour to cater for children within the service so that they feel welcome and included.
Hymns are usually projected to the front of the church so that everyone can see clearly.
(Who said ‘singing is good for the soul’. Whoever it was was right!)
However, hymn books are available for those that prefer to use one. There is also a hearing loop system in operation.

The parables of Jesus Christ, taught all those years ago are truly amazing
and apply to life now, as they did so then.
Refreshments and an informal chat
Refreshments are available after the morning service. It is a time for an informal chat and if you are new to the church, you can get to know other folk.
Adult Evening Service – 6 pm
The adult evening service is at 6 pm, and is usually preceded with a prayer time at 5.30 pm.
